Tuesday's Senior Moment with Larry Haney

On the road at 8:15 AM - Had a guided tour of Amish Farm country. Everything is a beautiful green. We saw several interesting things. . . horse drawn Amish buggies, beautiful barns, lots of contented cows, several one room school houses and oh yes, outhouses. A few interesting facts about the Amish . . . they don't have electricity; married men have beards; all grades in one room schools and they only go through the 8th grade. They don't have any churches; they assemble in homes to worship. We snacked on delicious hot home-made pretzels. Saw a moving drama on the life of Abraham and Sarah. Then we ate an early supper at Dienner's Country Restaurant. Thank the Lord for a wonderful day!
